The Bible has other accounts of conceptions considered impossible, such as the pregnancy of Sarah, an elderly woman who was already hopeless to conceive.   &nbsp;Other religions and myths also speak of unnatural or supernatural conceptions. In the collective imagination there has existed, for a long time, the possibility of conception by means other than those offered by nature. Medical technology has made it a reality that many of these conceptions considered miraculous are now achievable and routine.    &nbsp;Never as before, a couple has options to achieve their pregnancy.<\/p>\n<p>Current miraculous conceptions include:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1505 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inser.com.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/milactual-61x300-1-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"61\" height=\"300\"><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>conception when the man <strong>does not have sperm<\/strong> in the ejaculate (azoospermia) using a testicular biopsy and sperm microinjection, ICSI<\/li>\n<li>pregnancy in <strong>older women,<\/strong> thanks to in vitro fertilization and oocyte donation<\/li>\n<li>conception of healthy babies when parents are carriers of <strong>inherited diseases using preimplantation<\/strong> genetic diagnosis<\/li>\n<li>conception after a woman has<strong> lost both tubes<\/strong> using in vitro fertilization<\/li>\n<li>pregnancy after <strong>chemotherapy and radiotherapy for <\/strong><b>cancer<\/b>, freezing the gametes (sperm and oocytes) before therapy.<\/li>\n<li>Pregnancy after<strong> tubal ligation <\/strong>or<strong> vasectomy<\/strong> using microsurgical reconstruction<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In many other situations such as: couples with infertility for many years, problems with sperm, ovulation problems, unexplained infertility, sexual difficulties, endometriosis, obstruction of the fallopian tubes or vas deferens, it is possible to use some assisted reproduction technique to obtain a pregnancy.<br \/>\nFertility problems are common.
