“I believe in your dream of building a family, and I know that with love, science, and hope, we can achieve it!”
Biography
General practitioner from the CES University of Medellín and specialist in Gynecology and Obstetrics from the same university.
Since childhood, she dreamed of becoming a doctor and helping those in need with her profession. Thus, during her medical training, after assisting her first birth, she found her calling to serve: supporting other women through the different stages of their lives. That's why she decided to specialize in Gynecology and Obstetrics. During her years of specialization, she felt deeply drawn to topics related to endocrinology, motherhood, and human reproduction. She felt a special connection with families who, despite yearning for a pregnancy, were unable to achieve one. Around that time, she learned about the Inser Human Fertility Institute in Medellín, and during an academic rotation, amid tears of joy following a positive pregnancy test, she decided to become a subspecialist in Human Reproduction.
She completed her Reproductive Medicine studies between 2023 and 2024 at various Inser branches across the country. Additionally, she undertook external rotations at centers of excellence in minimally invasive surgery, endometriosis, and maternal-fetal medicine. She gained extensive technical and academic experience, which today allows her to accompany her patients with professionalism, comprehensive care, empathy, and compassion, providing the necessary pharmacological, imaging, and surgical interventions.
Passionate about research, she is committed to continuous learning, as she believes reproductive medicine is a field of precision. Staying at the forefront of treatments gives her patients greater possibilities of achieving their dream of having a family. She currently works as a Human Reproduction Specialist at Inser Caribe and also serves as a professor of Endocrinology and Human Reproduction in the Gynecology and Obstetrics programs at various universities.
