Here is my story:
It started in 2006, I noticed something was wrong because my period was very unusual and it hurt a lot.
I did some tests and received a phone call from a gynecologist in Holland, they told me that I would never get pregnant naturally because my fallopian tube was blocked. My world changed, it was never the same again because the hope of being a mother was almost nil, I only had the option of IVF.
In 2015 I went to Guadalupe to “clean” my fallopian tube and uterus, we wanted to get pregnant in a natural way. The pharmacies saw me often but all the pregnancy tests were negative. Many times I felt very sad, the positive thing was that my husband was patient and always encouraged me.
I never gave up and planned to have IVF. In our country / island, IVF is not covered by health insurance, so we used our savings to fulfill our dream.
We learned a lot about different clinics abroad and came to Inser Medellín.
It was like an adventure because we never went to Colombia. The first visit to the clinic was an experience we will never forget. All the people who work at the clinic are very good, professional and friendly. Thanks to all the positive vibes we felt very comfortable and started the procedure.
Due to my age (40) I didn’t have many follicles and that worried us, however they made us feel very good by supporting us in all the concerns we had.
After a couple of weeks we did the test and finally it was positive.
We are so blessed to have the opportunity to experience at the Inser Clinic. They are the ones who “made our dream come true”.
We are happy parents of our daughter.
