Inser, crossing borders to make the dream of more families in the world come true

More than 15 years ago, the work team of the InSer Group, Human Fertility Institute, decided to embark on a new mission with the aim of bringing happiness to more families in the world. Aruba and Curaçao were the first international destinations to be visited to make the dream of those couples facing an infertility condition come true.

Being in search of a pregnancy may seem simple, however 1 in 6 couples in the world faces a diagnosis of infertility, which added to the emotional and economic aspect can generate anguish and frustration in the couple. That is why InSer, as part of its international patient strategy added to its philosophy of humanized treatment, decided to reach foreign countries to help those who are living the path of infertility with opportunities to perform assisted reproduction treatments in Colombia.

Over the years and with the advancement of science, Colombia has become a destination in health tourism at the forefront of cutting-edge technologies in the world. InSer, for its part, has the largest medical team specializing in human reproduction in the country, an area of emotional accompaniment focused on supporting couples, laboratories with the highest technology and five headquarters located in wonderful cities of Colombia (Medellín, Bogotá, Pereira, Cartagena and Rionegro); which makes our country an excellent option for those who wish to undergo treatments outside their country of residence but at the same time want to take advantage of the time to go sightseeing.

Although there are multiple fears associated with the language, travel abroad, treatment and emotions, at InSer the international patient has a team willing to advise and guide in each process, since from the first moment direct communication is established with the specialist doctor to resolve all concerns regarding the treatment before the trip.

Thanks to the great work done in foreign countries, currently 30% of InSer patients are couples from countries or islands such as the United States, Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, among others. Evidence of this was the last international mission carried out from October 16 to 21 to Aruba and Curaçao, where more than 100 couples who are looking for a pregnancy and have Colombia as a reference to carry out their fertility treatment were attended.

With these visits, which seek to increase the number of international patients entering the country, the great potential that Colombia has to receive foreign patients who are looking for new possibilities to carry out their treatments in other countries was ratified. Some of our strengths focus on the human quality of Colombians and the diversity of our regions for tourism.
