The Greatest Wish in the World

Luciana Mantero, -Journalist / BA in Communication Sciences and Writer of the book The Greatest Wish in the World, tells us about a person’s process when facing an infertility diagnosis and the experience of human reproduction treatment.

Speaker profile:

Luciana Mantero was born in Buenos Aires and has a degree in Communication Sciences (UBA) and is a journalist (TEA). In 2015, she published the book The Greatest Wish in the World, which tells the stories of women who want to be mothers.

Since the printing of The Greatest Wish in the World, Mantero gives talks on the subject and her experience, to accompany couples who are going through infertility. Some references in chronicles are: My battle to be a mom again in Los Atrevidos and Intimate Chronicles of Argentina.

In May 2019, Luciana participated as an ideologist and host of the documentary Bebés on demand by National Geographic for Latin America. This documentary developed topics related to new family models and the path to parenthood in the 21st century, with stories and interviews with specialists from Colombia, Mexico, and Argentina. Her texts have been published in different media and in 2017 she was a speaker at TedXRíodelaPlata with her talk “Too late to have children”.
