Biography
Dr. Sergio Tamayo Hussein is a general practitioner who graduated from the San Martín University Foundation in Medellín and a specialist in Gynecology and Obstetrics from the University of Antioquia. Since his training, he has shown a deep interest in women's health, which led him to complete part of his internship in gynecology at the Grand Island Clinic in Nebraska (United States).
During his specialization, he focused particularly on gynecological endocrinology and reproductive medicine. Between 2014 and 2016, he furthered his training in human reproduction by completing rotations at prestigious national and international centers, including the IVI Group (Spain), the Inser Clinic, the University Research Center (SIU), and other renowned institutions in Medellín. In 2016, he earned his specialist certification in Human Reproduction and Assisted Reproduction Techniques.
Thanks to his training and experience, he provides a comprehensive and highly specialized approach to couples struggling to conceive. He is part of the Inser Medellín medical team as a specialist in human reproduction, and combines his clinical practice with teaching in postgraduate programs in Gynecology and Obstetrics at various universities in the city.
