In this month of May, we all celebrate the love, affection and dedication of our mothers, those angels who always accompany us and guide us with all their love.
On this occasion, and as a tribute to all those women who long to have a baby and have not yet achieved it and also for those who enjoy the joy of being mothers, we bring you the story of Juliana Jiménez, a woman who in the company of her husband fought fervently to realize the greatest desire of their lives and today is the happy mother of a beautiful girl.
This is his story:
“We started our entire fertility process when we realized that we could not get pregnant, so a family member recommended the Inser clinic to us. My husband and I tried many times with other insemination processes but they did not work, which saddened and took away our hope.
Even though I knew I had a advanced endometriosis , it was very hard to confirm it directly from Inser’s doctor. Fortunately, he gave us the strength to keep trying.
At first one faces all this treatment with sadness and fear, but inside you always keep the illusion of starting a family. In this process, my husband and I walked together for eight months. At the beginning it did not happen the result we expected, but it was not a negative result either. It is there where the doctor decides to do In Vitro Fertilization, the appropriate medical treatment due to my disease.
My body didn’t react very well on the first egg retrieval We didn’t understand what was happening, what we were doing wrong, it was very hard to face it because we didn’t know if we had to start over. After that failed attempt we had to wait for the next cycle, where the eggs could be collected to do the collection and continue with the process. We feel very lucky, because in that second attempt they were only able to capture five eggs from which they took four, three were fertilized, two were formed and only one “hit”, very few compared to those that are collected in a normal cycle.
The pregnancy test could be done on a Saturday, but we were advised to wait until the following Tuesday to be safer. I was reluctant to get tested, I didn’t think I was actually pregnant because that weekend I got cramps and that increased my pessimism. That day arrived and my husband was desperate for me to be tested early, so we arrived at the clinic at 10 in the morning. There they told us that we had to wait until 4 in the afternoon. That day we worked “glued” to the cell phone until the doctor called us and told us: I love to give you this news: Juliana, you are pregnant! We couldn’t believe it, but four days later we repeated the test and then we confirmed it. We couldn’t be happier.
From then on everything was wonderful for me, we came happily to all the check-ups to see our baby grow, to listen to her little heart. It was fortunately a beautiful pregnancy, Emiliana is my rainbow baby because I didn’t get nauseated, or symptoms, or cravings. It was a very successful treatment despite my illness.
I love Inser because all its staff invites us not to lose faith. Everyone treated us super well, they were very affectionate and very clear with all the steps of the treatment. We have a lot of appreciation for the staff of the clinic because thanks to Inser we achieved the dream of forming our home.”
